International Assistance for PA-E

The user shall be eligible for services when he/she travels outside Thailand for periods not exceeding 90 consecutive days per trip.


1) International Medical Assistance

1.1 Telephone Medical Advice: International SOS will arrange for the
  provision of medical advice to the User over the telephone.
   
1.2 Medical Service Provider Referral: International SOS shall provide to
  the User, upon request, the name, address, telephone number and, if available, office hours of physicians, hospitals, clinics, dentists and dental clinics (collectively, „Medical Service Providers“). International SOS shall not be responsible for providing medical diagnosis or treatment. Although International SOS shall make such referrals, it cannot guarantee the quality of the Medical Service Providers and the final selection of a Medical Service Provider shall be the decision of the User. International SOS, however, will exercise care and diligence in selecting the Medical Service Providers.
   
1.3 Arrangement of Appointments with Local Doctors for Treatment:
  International SOS will assist the User by arranging for appointments with local doctors for treatment.
   
1.4 Arrangement of Hospital Admission: If the medical condition of the
  User is of such gravity as to require hospitalization, International SOS will assist such User in the hospital admission.
   
1.5 Monitoring of Medical Condition During Hospitalization: International
  SOS will monitor the User’s medical condition during hospitalization, subject to any and all obligations in respect of confidentiality and relevant authorization.
   
1.6 Guarantee of Medical Expenses Incurred during Hospitalization:
  International SOS will assist the User by guaranteeing on behalf of the User medical expenses incurred during his/her hospitalization.
   
1.7 Arrangement of Emergency Medical Evacuation: International SOS
  will arrange for the provision of air and/or surface transportation, medical care during transportation, communications and all usual ancillary services required to move the User when in a Serious Medical Condition to the nearest hospital where appropriate medical care is available. International SOS will arrange for the provision of appropriate communication and linguistic capabilities, mobile medical equipment and medical escort crew.
   
1.8 Arrangement of Emergency Medical Repatriation: International SOS
  will arrange for the return of the User to Thailand following the User’s Emergency Medical Evacuation and subsequent hospitalization outside Thailand. International SOS will arrange for the provision of appropriate communication and linguistic capabilities, mobile medical equipment and medical escort crew.
   
1.9 Arrangement of Transportation of Mortal Remains: International SOS
  will arrange for the transportation of the User’s mortal remains to Thailand or arrange, as requested by the User’s family, for local burial at the place of death.
Note: Service at item 1.7 to 1.9 ING responsibility at maximum 500,000 baht per insurance. For other items, insurer must pay to third party for their service when insurer use them.

2) International Travel Assistance

 

2.1 Interpreter Referral: International SOS will provide the names, telephone numbers and, if possible and requested, hours of opening of interpreters‘ office in foreign countries. Although International SOS shall make such referrals, it cannot guarantee the quality of the service provider and the final selection of a service provider shall be the decision of the User. International SOS, however, will exercise care and diligence in selecting the service providers.
   
2.2 Lost Luggage Assistance: International SOS will assist the User who has lost his/her luggage while traveling outside Thailand by referring the User to the appropriate authorities involved.
   
2.3 Lost Passport Assistance: International SOS will assist the User who has lost his/her passport while traveling outside Thailand by referring the User to the appropriate authorities involved.
   
2.4 Legal Referral: International SOS will provide the Users with the name, address, telephone numbers, if requested by the User and if available, office hours for referred lawyers and legal practitioners. International SOS will not give any legal advice to the User. Although International SOS shall make such referrals, it cannot guarantee the quality of the service provider and the final selection of a service provider shall be the decision of the User. International SOS, however, will exercise care and diligence in selecting the service providers.
   
2.5 Embassy Referral: International SOS shall provide the address, telephone number and hours of opening of the nearest appropriate consulate and embassy worldwide.
   
2.6 Emergency Message Transmission: In the event of a medical emergency, International SOS will assist the User to transmit urgent messages to family members, friends or business associates upon the User’s request.
   
2.7 Pre-trip Information Services: International SOS will provide information concerning visas and inoculation requirements for foreign countries worldwide.

Note: The above Services [item (2.1) to (2.7)] are purely on referral or arrangement basis. International SOS shall not be responsible for any third party expenses reasonably incurred on medically and professionally good faith basis which shall be solely the Subscriber’s/User’s responsibility.

The Users shall be eligible for Services when they travel more than 150km from the place of residence and within Thailand for periods not exceeding 90 consecutive days per trip.

SOS Assistance Additional Service (PA)

 

1) Medical Service Provider Referral: International SOS will provide the name, address, telephone number and, if requested by the User and if available, office hours for physicians, hospitals, clinics, dentists and dental clinics (collectively, „Medical Service Provider“). Subject to International SOS exercising due care and diligence in the selection of Medical Service Provider, International SOS shall not be responsible for determining the appropriate medical specialist for handling the User’s particular problem nor for providing medical diagnosis or treatment. International SOS shall not be liable in respect of any consequences arising out of, or howsoever caused by the services provided by the Medical Service Providers referred by International SOS. The final selection of the Medical Service Provider shall be the responsibility of the User.
2) Arrangement of Hospital Admission: If the medical condition of the User is of such gravity as to require hospitalization, International SOS will assist the User with hospital admission.
3) Arrangement of Emergency Medical Evacuation: International SOS will arrange for the air and/or surface transportation and communication for moving the User when in a Serious Medical Condition to the nearest hospital in Thailand where appropriate medical care is available.
4) Arrangement of Emergency Medical Repatriation: International SOS will arrange for the return of the User to the place of residence in Thailand following an emergency medical evacuation for subsequent in-hospital treatment more than 150km from the place of residence and within Thailand.
5) Arrangement of Transportation of Mortal Remains: International SOS will arrange for transporting the User’s mortal remains from the place of death to the place of residence.

Note: Service at item 3 to 5 ING responsibility at maximum 500,000 baht per insurance. For other items, insurer must pay to third party for their service when insurer uses them.

* Exclude insured in occupation class 4 such as labor worker , electronic worker , grind driver , truck driver etc.

Automobile Assistance for PA600* , PA1150* , PA1650* , PA2150, PA2650 , PA4500 , PA8000 , PA11500

The Automobile Assistance programmed is provided only when the User drives a vehicle in Thailand.

1) Emergency Towing Assistance: In the event the User’s vehicle breaks down or is involved in a car accident and he/she becomes immobilized while on the road, International SOS will assist in making arrangement for the vehicle to be towed to the nearest garage if immediate repair is not possible.
2) Roadside Repair Assistance: In the event that the User’s vehicle breaks down and immediate repair is deemed possible, International SOS shall assist the User by arranging for a car mechanic to the User’s site.
3) Alternative Travel Assistance: If the User’s vehicle cannot be repaired and he/she urgently needs to reach his/her destination, International SOS will assist the User in organizing alternative transport for the User to continue his/her journey.
4) Repatriation of Vehicle: If the User’s vehicle cannot be repaired when it breaks down, International SOS will assist the User in arranging for the repatriation of the Vehicle to the User’s home, or a particular vehicle dealer maintenance and repair shop, at User’s instruction.
5) Arrangement for Rental Transport: Should the User’s vehicle be involved in an accident and is immobilized with repair at the workshop, International SOS will arrange for the rental of a vehicle of the same capacity whenever possible.
6) Arrangement of Hotel Accommodation Assistance: Should the User’s vehicle break down and the User decides to alter his/her plans pending the complete repair of the vehicle, International SOS will assist the User by arranging for hotel accommodation at the nearest location.
7) Police Report Assistance: In the event the user needs to make police report, International SOS will provide the user with information on where and how to make police report as well as any ancillary assistance in relation thereto.
8) Locksmith Referral: In the event the User is locked out of his/her Vehicle, International SOS will provide referral information regarding locksmiths and if possible, their costs. International SOS will also assist the User by arranging for the locksmith to be on site, if necessary.

Note: SOS free of charge in case of information. When the expense occurs from third party, you must responsibility.
