Our Services – Cash Returns Reimbursement Options

 

The company will pay cash as specified in the policy after deducting debts (If any) to insured person that is still alive at the end of the policy year as specified in the policy.

There are four cash payment reimbursement options that insured person may choose from:

  • Cheque via mail to insured person’s address as stated in the policy (Default Option)
  • Transfer to a savings account or current account of a commercial Bank.
  • Deposit with the company at the interest rate announced (Please see notes below).
  • Use the cash payment amount to deduct premium due. This will take effect when the premium is due and if the cash returns reimbursement is lesser than the premium amount, the difference must be paid by the insured person. If the difference of the premium payment is not paid within 45 days from the policy due date, the company will refund the cash payment via cheque by mail to insured person’s address.

If cash payment option is not specified in the policy, the company will send cheque via mail to insured person’s address as stated in the policy.
*Notes:

  • The company will not accept customer to deposit cash payment with the company particularly for plan UE10 and UE25/7
  • The company will not accept customer to deposit dividend or cash payment for retirement period or maturity benefit.
  • The company will not accept customer to deposit non guaranteed annual dividend of all WD plan (WD5 / WD10 / WD15 / WD20)

Only cheque payable to “FWD Life Insurance Public Company Limited”, cross “A/C Payee only” and “Or Bearer”. Please specify policy number on the back of cheque also.

  3.Through commercial banks Hide details
3.1 Cash at bank branches: The procedure is as follows:

  • Please show the billing statement to pay premium at bank branch.
  • The bank teller will stamp and sign on the billing statement and hand it over to you. Please keep this for evidence.
  • Once the company get the information of premium payment from bank, the company will send the official receipt via mail to you.
  • Thus, paying premium at bank branch seems as if you paid the premium at the company directly.

For the person who is looking for life insurance
1. Q How much is the appropriate sum assured or premium?
  A Firstly, you need to know your purpose to obtain life insurance, normally, there are 3 points to be considered.
  If you would like to secure some money for the future, for example, when you get retired and you would like to have 2 millions baht. Thus, you must choose the life insurance, which gives you a return at 2 millions baht.
  Your capacity to pay premium which means how much you can pay for it.
     
2. Q If I bought life insurance directly from the company, then who would I consult with in the future?
  A The policy owners are able to call to Customer Service everyday at  0-2632-6000  or e-mail at iService@fwd.co.th all the time.
3. Q How can I pay premium?
  A Cash at any office/branch of Bangkok Bank, Bank of Ayudhya, Kasikorn Bank and Siam Commercial Bank, UOB Bank, Krung Thai Bank, TMB Bank, Siam City Bank.
    Direct Debit through Saving Account of Bangkok Bank, Bank of Ayudhya, Kasikorn Bank, Siam Commercial Bank , Krung Thai Bank, TMB Bank.
    Telephone Banking Service for ATM holder of Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bank of Ayudhya and TMB Bank.
    Through the ATM of Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bank of AyudhyaSiam, TMB Bank.
    Through the internet of Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bangkok Bank and Bank of Ayudhya.
    Through pay point counter service.
    Through AIS PAY Station
    Through counter service at all 7eleven branch in Thailand without any service charge.
4. Q If I do not pay premium in grace period 30 days, am I able to use FWD Card?
  A You cannot use FWD Card because you have to pay premium in order to use FWD Card. However, once you have paid already, then you can also bring the bill to FWD to claim it later on. Normally, decline to use benefits that fall beyond policy conditions, it doesn’t mean that you cannot claim but you have to bring that bill for a consideration, for the example, we may need to get more information from the hospital or some cases need to consult with the doctor.
5. Q If I have paid premium for a while but not all yet and I have a financial problem which affects to the ability of paying. What would I do?
  A You would have many solutions for this problem, which are
    Change period for paying premium to 3 months or 6 months.
    Pay premium by using the return money from policy.
    Loan out some money or whole amount of cash value from policy for paying premium.
    Cut out some rider contacts to reduce the amount of premium.
    Reduce sum assured to reduce premium that you have to pay (Reducing sum assured will affect to coverage).
    Change policy’s type to reflect your capability to payment.
    When you have the financial problem, please do not leave your policy. It is not a good solution to leave the policy because it will stop to cover your life immediately. You will lose some money. Moreover, in the future, you may need a new policy, you will get higher premium due to your age. If you are not in a good health, perhaps, you may get denied to buy health insurance.
6. Q When I get the accident in abroad, will FWD policy cover or not? And how should I do?
  A Normally, Personal Accidental policy covers your accidental even you stay in abroad. However, you must bring 1) Original receipt 2) Medical Care list and 3) Doctor reference.
7. Q What is FWD Card? How to use it?
  A When you apply for Health insurance, PPO (CARE) and OPD or Personal Accidental policy, you will receive FWD Card. You can use it when you go to FWD network hospital, 276 hospitals more and you simply present the FWDe Card, you pay only those benefits that fall beyond policy conditions.
8. Q Now, I pay premium under monthly mode payment. Can I pay by debit from saving account?
  A Yes, you can use Bangkok Bank, Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bank of Ayudhya, KrungThai Bank, Government Saving Bank and TMB Bank.
9. Q How can apply to be Life Insurance Agent?
